Mark Powell has been actively involved in the Real Estate Industry since 1993, in which time he has gained an immeasurable knowledge of the market. As an appraiser for many years, Mark honed an ability to assess and analyze home and property values, while gaining firsthand understanding of exactly what makes a home desirable in the Bay Area. While certainly an interesting profession, Mark felt his skills would be of better use on the other side of the appraisal process, and so he decided to become a Realtor, allowing him to help a much greater number of people.
Through his appraisal career Mark came into contact with many Realtors who put their needs above their clients’. Knowing what a personal and life-changing experience buying or selling real estate can be, Mark seeks only to serve his clients, using his extensive experience to help them every step of the way, so that they feel confident and secure in their decision making. Whether they are an investor, a move-up buyer, downsizing, or just looking for that perfect lake property, Mark strives to inform and support his clients in every situation.
At Dudum Real Estate Group, Mark is able to work in an environment which mirrors the philosophies by which he operates his own business. As an appraiser, Mark often worked independently, but as a Dudum agent, he is able to draw on a wealth of knowledge from many different people, bringing a full team of professionals to every transaction.
Mark has been witness to many of the real estate, cultural and artistic changes that have occurred in the Bay Area over the years. Mark has seen it all, and truly identifies with what makes this such a unique place to live. Mark has been happily married for over 20 years, and together with his wife has three amazing daughters. He is very active in his community, as both an Ambassador to the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce, and as one of the coaches for his daughter’s U-16 soccer team. When he is not working, Mark is taking advantage of all that Northern California has to offer, including biking, hiking, paddle boarding and camping on the many beaches, lakes and rivers throughout the area.
